CONTRIBUTIONSHelp Save The Balmer Fund Buildings!The Balmer Fund is an all-volunteer organization founded in 1994 to preserve the history, art & culture of the prairies for future generations. It relies on volunteer help and contributions in many forms. Some unique contributions for various planned projects are as follows: Balmer Collections Colored vintage glassware collection - To be placed in cases along the Prairie Arts Theatre walls for ambient lighting. Nautical items, clothing and hard goods (used or new) To be used for décor, or sold in the gift shop of the Anchor Oyster Parlor, located in the I.P. Cmapbell Building, 116 W. Main. It is slated for restoration. Aviation memorabilia of early prairie pilots - Used for display and research in the Dunae Hostetler Memorial Aviation Exhibit, 118 W. Main (will be moved to larger space, as needed) Miscellaneous Items Ashtrays - For future use by The Balmer Fund Vinyl Dolls, any condition - These dolls will be used in a public art project created by Rosalea to document and memorialize the liars, bullies and cheaters who have harrssed The Balmer Fund (and Rosalea) for decades. White 100% cotton t-shirts, sweaters and polos, no inks or color trim, small holes okay - must be all cotton with no spandex or polyester. Used to cover hanger for storage of historic and theatre costumes to prevent acid from bleeding on the garment. King Parrot On the Road (traveling rig) and Friends of the Theatre Thrift Store - we accept virtually any type of donation that is useable and functional Contact Rosalea Hostetler ahead of time for delivery: 620.896.7566 (evenings). |
